and Planter. A pair of American art pottery pieces from the Louwelsa line by Weller Pottery, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. This set includes a small, squat-bodied jug with a tri-corn pinched spout and a single loop handle, alongside an oval-shaped planter or bulb bowl with a flared rim. Both pieces are crafted from earthenware and feature hand-painted slip decoration under a high-gloss glaze. The jug is decorated with a yellow and green honeysuckle motif against a dark chocolate and ochre shaded ground. The planter displays an iris blossom in autumnal orange and brown tones with green foliage against a shaded hunter green to dark brown background.
