SERIAL 46608. BARREL 5.5". CALIBER .45 ACP. MADE IN 1918. Made for WWI as they could not produce enough 1911 autos. Built on large N-Frame, blue finish, case color hammer & trigger, smooth walnut grips. Butt is stamped with serial number and US ARMY MODEL 1917. Also stamped UNITED STATES PROPERTY under barrel. Lanyard ring is present. Matching serial numbers on frame, cylinder and butt. Flaming bomb inspector stamp on left side of frame.
Condition. Fine overall with at least 85% plus bright blue, sharp legends, nice case colors, sharp clean bore. Grips have a impressions. Straps are gray. Operates normally. C&R
