Description
This is a mid-century American art pottery vase attributed to Roseville in the Zephyr Lily pattern, introduced in 1946. The vessel is crafted from glazed earthenware and features relief-molded decoration of lilies and sweeping foliage in shades of yellow and green. The exterior is finished in a mottled blue glaze with a textured surface, while the interior is finished in a contrasting high-gloss orange-tan glaze. The tall, cylindrical form is supported by three integral, curved handles that connect the body to a wide, circular pedestal foot. The underside is unmarked by a factory stamp but features hand-applied blue marks, including an X and a Roman numeral VI. Approximately 10.5 inches in height. Burns in-house shipping is available.
