This Norinco Model 59 is a Chinese-manufactured semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x18mm Makarov, a design derived from the Soviet Makarov PM. The firearm features a 3.7 inch barrel and operates via a straight blowback system with a double-action/single-action trigger. The steel construction is finished in a high-polished bluing, and the frame is fitted with brown checkered synthetic grips featuring a central five-pointed star within a circle. The slide is equipped with a fixed front blade and a notch rear sight, with a serrated rib along the top to reduce glare.
