Description
Description: Imperial German Officer’s Daggers are much rarer than Third Reich examples and are quite distinctive. This is a nice copy of the standard, early 1900's pattern officer’s dirk, which was reinstated for wear after an almost 40 year absence. It features the open crown pommel, a highly polished, double-edged stiletto type blade with center ridge beginning at the ricasso, simulated ivory grip double capstan cross guard with fouled anchor, and a wrapped scabbard With its antique silver finish and overall length of 21” this well made piece is a very nice display item and an excellent filler for a rare, pre World War knife collector.
