Trinket Boxes. An assortment of authentic French porcelain trinket boxes from Limoges, featuring hand-painted decorations and brass-toned metal hinged mounts with decorative clasps. The group includes a rabbit figure with a blue scale-pattern design on an oval light-blue base, which is marked Peint Main AG Limoges France on the underside. A violin case-form box displays a marbled-brown finish and contains a removable miniature porcelain violin; the case is marked LIMOGES FRANCE with a PP logo and MARQUE DEPOSEE Peint Main, while the interior violin is marked LIMOGES France. A rectangular box is decorated as a tuxedo shirt with a black bow tie and an interior hand-painted champagne glass, with markings on the base for Peint main Limoges France Eximious.
