Army Patches, Cold War and Korean War Era. A collection of four vintage military uniform shoulder sleeve insignia and souvenir patches representing the United States Air Force and the Republic of Korea Army. The first item is a 1607th USAF Hospital Medical Squadron Section patch, associated with the Military Air Transport Service at Dover Air Force Base, active between 1953 and 1966. It is a shield-shaped, fully embroidered patch featuring a light blue field, white bird over a red cross, globe, and gold-colored caduceus. Inscriptions include the Latin motto PRIMUM EST OFFICIUM, 1607th USAF HOSP, and MED SQN SECT.
